TDS 820 – slow-speed mobile shredder
TDS 820 is a typical entry point into Terex Ecotec’s slow-speed segment. The machine is designed to reduce volume and open materials for further sorting or energy recovery.
TDS 820 with diesel is the starting point for most mobile rigs – easy to transport and independent of fixed power supply at the site. TDS 820E is electric and relevant where you have sufficient power and want to limit diesel use, noise or local emission requirements. Both address the same type of materials; the choice comes down to infrastructure, cost per kWh and operating plan.
For your operation this means: the ability to process large volumes without tying up capital in permanent installation at one location. Combined with the right feed system and optional screen and metal extraction (e.g. TMS from the same portfolio), you gain better control of the quality of the outgoing fraction.
