UNTHA ZR – pre-shredder for the toughest jobs
The ZR series is built for coarse shredding of large and heavy material. The twin-shaft, low-speed design provides high tolerance for foreign objects – essential when the material is unpredictable.
Often used as the first step in a two-stage shredding process, where an XR or RS handles the fine shredding afterwards.
Cutting systems
- H-system (coarse shredding) – for household waste, bulky waste, C&I waste, waste wood, mattresses. Suitable for cement plants, biogas and sorting facilities.
- W-system (metal/WEEE) – for scrap metal, white goods and electronic waste. Suitable for metal processors and recyclers.

- ZR2400H – stationary with H cutting system for high-volume coarse shredding
- ZR2400W – stationary with W cutting system for metal and WEEE
